Run Monster Run
Run Monster Run is the story of three young monsters who discover a terrifying truth about the world they live in and embark on a journey to escape it. Beneath its charming characters lies a story filled with suspense, emotion, and mystery.
We fell in love with this project the moment it was presented to us. While the characters are instantly lovable, it quickly becomes clear that Álvaro’s IP has remarkable depth and emotional weight.
Juan Diego’s character and world design immediately captured our imagination, making it easy to envision this universe coming to life through animation.
From the very beginning, we felt the project called for a handcrafted approach. We chose to animate on twos to give the movement a more organic, expressive feel, complemented by traditional hand-drawn 2D effects that reinforce its cinematic personality. The result is a visual style that balances charm, emotion, and dynamic action while staying true to the creators’ original vision.
